ISO 14001
Pratt & Whitney registered its first site to ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 14001 in 1999. Since then, 36 additional sites have been registered by a third-party ISO 14001 registrar and we are well on our way to having all of our sites in compliance.
ISO 14001 is an international, voluntary Environmental Management System (EMS) standard. This standard requires companies to identify environmental impacts and establish programs to effectively control and reduce those impacts.
