University of Pittsburgh and University of Illinois at Chicago Researchers to Present Findings of Final Phase of the Pratt & Whitney Epidemiology Study at Press Conference and Public Meeting Today
Pratt & Whitney funded industry-leading researchers from the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Illinois at Chicago to conduct one of the largest workplace studies of its kind because we care about health and safety of our employees. The researchers' findings from the first two phases of this 12-year study have not found any patterns or trends suggestive of a workplace relationship with glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer.
Researchers will share their findings of the third and final phase of this study in a public meeting on Thursday, May 23 at 7:30 p.m., at the Sheraton Hartford South Hotel in Rocky Hill, Conn. The researchers will also hold a press conference at 5 p.m. on May 23 at the Pratt & Whitney Hangar.
