A Pratt & Whitney-powered F-15C Eagle from the Massachusetts Air National Guard's 104th Fighter Wing departs Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, for Barnes Air National Guard Base, Mass., on Aug. 12. Some 130 airmen and eight Eagles from the 104th Fighter Wing had participated in a large force exercise in Alaska. The 104th recently upgraded all aircraft to Pratt & Whitney's F100-PW-220/220E engines.
