Pratt & Whitney Rzeszów Hosts 'Techno Tour' for Future Engineers
Nearly 70 of southern Poland's most talented college students may be one step closer to considering a career at Pratt & Whitney Rzeszów.
On Jan. 18, aspiring engineers from the Rzeszów University of Technology and the University of Rzeszów got a taste of what it's like to work at Pratt & Whitney by visiting the Rzeszów, Poland, site.
The exclusive "Techno Tour" allowed students to experience the process of manufacturing aircraft parts and components, including complex static structures, auxiliary power units, R&D with test cells and gears and gearboxes.
P&W Rzeszów President Marek Darecki also discussed the opportunities and challenges of Industry 4.0 and the Aviation Valley. P&W Rzeszów celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
