Pratt & Whitney Named Susan G. Komen Southern New England's 2015 Sponsor of the Year
Pratt & Whitney was recently named Susan G. Komen Southern New England's® 2015 Sponsor of the Year. The honor was bestowed by Komen for Pratt & Whitney's sponsorship of and participation in the 2015 Race for the Cure® Greater Hartford.
Jill Albertelli, vice president, NGPF-30K Programs; Mary Anne Cannon, vice president, Environment, Health & Safety; and Cindy Adelman, V2500 manager, accepted the award on Pratt & Whitney's behalf from Lori van Dam, Komen Southern New England's CEO.
"Pratt & Whitney is proud of our longstanding partnership with the Komen organization, and proud of our employees who give to the cause and participate in Race for the Cure events every year," said Albertelli. "We're truly honored to receive this award."
To be eligible for Sponsor of the Year, an organization must demonstrate a commitment to the local fight against breast cancer through sponsorship of a Race for the Cure event for at least five years, with a consistent presence on race day throughout those years. Pratt & Whitney has sponsored the Greater Hartford race for 12 years.
