Three UTC employees representing Pratt & Whitney and United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) were recently recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) as a part of this year's class of "Hartford's Finest."
The distinction celebrates and honors the state's "finest professionals" for their success in business and leadership in their community. In addition, the three employees raised more than $6,000 for CFF.
This year's class included:
Mike Carbonetta, delivery assurance program manager, UTAS, was a previous recipient of this award, and served as chair for this year's event. Carbonetta was on-hand to recognize the honorees.
"I felt privileged and humbled to be honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation," said Lyte, "the stories of the people affected by cystic fibrosis, especially the courageous children, have touched my heart and inspired me to want to help find a cure for this disease."
