Bob Bailey is the vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) of Pratt & Whitney. Bob is responsible for Pratt & Whitney's overall financial function, including accounting and controls, financial planning and analysis, cost reduction initiatives and providing guidance and controls to ensure the company's profitable growth.
Bob has held positions of increasing responsibility across several Finance disciplines at Pratt & Whitney, United Technologies headquarters and Hamilton Sundstrand. Prior positions include vice president, Finance and CFO, for Pratt & Whitney's Commercial Engines business; vice president, Financial Planning & Analysis and treasury at Hamilton Sundstrand; and vice president, Finance and CFO, at Hamilton Sundstrand.
Bob began his career with Price Waterhouse in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1986 and joined United Technologies in 1992. He is also a certified public accountant.
Bob holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
