Anita Rebarchak Wins ASME Old Guard Early Career Award
Pratt & Whitney Military Engines employee Anita Rebarchak was recently selected as winner of the American Society Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Old Guard Early Career Award. The award, established in 1994, is to help young engineers bridge the gap between college and professional life. Full article

for Fourth Consecutive Year
For the fourth consecutive year, readers of Diversity/Careers in Engineering & Information Technology named Pratt & Whitney a "Best Diversity Company."
The magazine asked its readers to identify the diversity strengths of corporations, government agencies and other organizations with technical professionals in the United States. Organizations scoring the highest among readers for their support of workforce diversity, attention to work/life balance, and a commitment to supplier diversity gained the “Best Diversity” distinction. Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne Named First in Nation
for Promoting Diversity
Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne was named first in the nation by the Association of Diversity Councils for its outstanding contributions and achievements in promoting diversity in its workforce, workplace and marketplace.
The second annual Diversity Council Honors Awards were presented to the top 25 organizational diversity councils in the United States during a ceremony at the 11th Annual Summit on Leading Diversity in Atlanta, Ga. As part of the selection process, a panel of independent judges evaluated at least 50 applicants based on contributions and achievements in four categories: demonstrated council results; demonstrated management commitment; measurement and accountability; and communication and education.
